2026 President’s Report

This past year has been one of progress, resilience, and continued commitment to serving our members and community. As President of Fulton County REMC, I am proud to report that our cooperative has remained focused on delivering safe, reliable, and affordable electricity while adapting to the evolving needs of our members.

We have made important investments in infrastructure to strengthen system reliability and reduce outages. Through proactive maintenance, upgrades to aging equipment, and the integration of new technologies, we are working to ensure that our members experience dependable service in every season.

Financially, Fulton County REMC has remained stable. Careful planning and responsible management have allowed us to control costs while continuing to reinvest in our system. As a member-owned cooperative, every decision we make is guided by what is best for the members we serve.

Community involvement continues to be a cornerstone of our mission. From supporting local events and youth programs to promoting energy education and safety initiatives, we are proud to play an active role in strengthening Fulton County.

Looking ahead, we recognize that the energy industry is rapidly changing. We remain committed to exploring innovative solutions, improving efficiency, and maintaining transparency with our members. Our goal is not only to meet today’s needs but to prepare for the future with confidence and responsibility.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our board members, employees, and cooperative members for their continued trust and support. Together, we are building a stronger, more reliable future for Fulton County REMC.

As I close this out, I would like to extend an invitation to each member to attend our Annual Meeting, June 22, 2026.  This event will be held at the REMC building as a drive through event.  The director’s elections will be held at that time.

Respectfully,

Dennis Burton
