We finished 2025 in a great financial position; we met or exceeded all of our financial goals.  We upgraded and built around 25 miles of distribution lines and upgraded multiple protection devices with smart communicating controls that provide real time monitoring and remote-control capabilities.  The FCREMC staff continues to work diligently on system upgrades to enhance service quality for all our members. Providing reliable, safe, and affordable power remains our highest priority.

Over the past year and next month, we have had two employees retire.  These employees represent 79 years of experience and institutional knowledge.  While we are sad to see these employees go we are excited for them and their next chapter in life.

The electric industry, like many other industries, is changing and evolving more quickly than ever before.  Federal and state policy changes every four years or so and these changes are not minor, they are big changes.  The policy changes make it hard for utilities like us to develop long range strategies, often putting us in a reactive mode instead of being proactive.

I want to assure you, our member owners, that all of us at FCREMC are committed to our mission of enriching the lives of our members and community by providing exceptional service and power that is safe, reliable, and affordable.

As we look ahead, Fulton County REMC remains grounded in strong financial performance, a commitment to continuous system improvement, and a deep appreciation for the employees who have helped build the cooperative’s legacy.  While the energy landscape continues to shift, our focus does not waver.  We are dedicated to adapting thoughtfully, planning responsibly, and serving our members with excellence.  We encourage all members to stay engaged and remain connected as we work together to power our community forward safely, reliably, and affordably.
