Pursuant to the Indiana Rural Electric Membership Cooperative Act, Fulton County Rural Electric Membership Corp (FCREMC) hereby gives legal notice that it is holding funds for certain past or current consumers of electrical energy. These funds represent capital credits distributions previously authorized by the Cooperative Board of Directors and held for a period of two (2) years or more, on which prior distributions have been unsuccessful
A list of these members is available on the Cooperative’s website. A copy of the list can also be obtained at the Cooperative’s business office at 1448 W State Road 14, Rochester, IN. Members on the list who wish to file a claim for any unclaimed distribution must do so using the unclaimed form available on the website.
Any unclaimed credit will be returned to the capital credit account and allocated among all remaining members. Claims must be supported by proof of rightful ownership or legitimate representation and state-approved identification. Refunds of capital credits are distributed annually in December and only under certain conditions. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that a refund will not adversely impact the financial condition of the Cooperative and will comply with the Bylaws and loan covenants before granting approval.

Notice of Retirement of Capital Credits
Fulton County Rural Electric Membership Corporation (FCREMC) announced the retirement of capital credits for the years 1989 and 1990. On October 31, 2024, FCREMC declared its intent to retire these credits. Checks were mailed on December 16, 2024, to all eligible inactive members and to active members with balances over $100.
